I completed my BSc, MSc, and PhD in Molecular Biology and Genetics at Istanbul Technical University . Throughout my PhD, I had the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting projects, including Behçet’s disease, nanobodies, SARS-CoV-2, membrane proteins, microtubule-associated proteins (MAPs), and dynein motor proteins.

My research dives deep into molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to uncover the structural and functional mechanisms of motor proteins, microtubules, and MAPs, with the goal of understanding how these systems drive intracellular transport and shape cytoskeletal organization. I also investigate intrinsically disordered proteins, nanobody interactions, and the dynamic behavior of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein—areas that I find endlessly fascinating and full of potential for future discoveries.
