Mon is a lab manager in Marcus Noyes’ lab. They are researching ways to leverage interactions between zinc fingers and protein, DNA, and RNA for gene regulation.
Mon has previously worked on improvement of antimicrobial lytic enzymes for increased bacterial cell killing, manipulating the modularity of protein domains to generate enzymes with capability to bind to specific surfaces, and designing environmentally friendly biological synthesis of compounds of interest to replace harsh chemical synthesis platforms.
